The mid-priced Yasei Perch Carolina & Texas Rig Casting is specifically designed for perch fishing using black bass set-ups like Carolina and Texas rigs. The slim lightweight blank has a fast action to maximise casting distance and a very sensitive solid tip to enhance bite detection and cushion lightning-fast hook sets.
Perch fishing is gaining popularity and if you are an angler who specialises in this widespread and often underestimated species, you will probably be aware of specialized black bass rigs and how to fish them. Offering more options and versatility than the standard jig head/shad combination, these softbait set-ups can be extremely effective and almost addictive to use. The Yasei Perch Carolina & Texas Rig rod comes in two 2.30m length options, for excellent casting performance. The Casting rod will cover 7-20g set-ups. To balance the rod perfectly, combine it with a Shimano BFS (Bait Finesse System) baitcasting reel, or 70 size MGL alternatives. The Spinning rod will cover lighter 4-14g set-ups. To balance the rod perfectly, combine it with a Shimano 2000 or 2500 sized spinning reel.
In use, the fast action maximises lightweight casting distances, whilst the sensitive solid tip enhances the gentlest of bites, giving you every chance of hitting the most delicate takes, especially in winter when the fish are moving slower.

The superb sensitivity and speed of the Yasei Perch Carolina & Texas Rig comes from the High Modulus Full Carbon blank, built using Hi-Power X technology and Nano Alloy. This reduces blank twist when casting and playing fish and enhances sensitivity from the tip to the hand.
To further increase finesse and overall performance, the rods are fitted with the latest design Fuji Alconite K-type guides which are lightweight and suitable for the fine diameter braids used for perch.
